Waterside Lodge One
Waterside Lodge One is a wooden lodge in Elland. It's semi-detached. It's in Ashgrove Country Park, which is about 40 acres of land that was an old estate.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's on three floors. The main living area is on the top floor, with big doors that open onto a balcony. You get a good view from there. One of the bedrooms on the lower floor has a glass wall and opens onto a deck by the water.
There's a hot tub. Stairs inside are fine, they're normal stairs. You get a wood burning stove in the living room. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking.
You can bring two dogs.
The local pub and a lakeside restaurant are about half a mile away. Elland and Brighouse are five minutes in the car for shops. Brighouse has a train station. Trains go to places like Hebden Bridge, Halifax, Manchester and Leeds.
If you're planning days out, Halifax is about ten minutes away. The Piece Hall is there, and Shibden Hall, which you might know from TV. Eureka, the children's museum, is 15 minutes away.
Haworth, where the Brontës lived, is about half an hour's drive. The Yorkshire Dales and the Peak District are both roughly an hour and a half away.
