Cedar Barn

Cedar Barn is up at Stone Chair, near Northowram. It's a stone barn conversion on its own, part of a pair of cottages, but you've got your own space. It sits in about four acres, so the views are all fields and countryside. It's very quiet.

It's for four people. Two bedrooms, both with their own shower room, plus another toilet downstairs. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-finished, comfortable and everything works. It's not cluttered.

The main room downstairs is open plan. Big windows so you get the light and the view. There's underfloor heating. Outside, there's a private patio with a table and chairs, and you share the big lawn. Cedar Barn has a hot tub on its patio.

You're right on the Calderdale Way, so you can walk straight out from the door. For a proper trip, Shibden Hall is about five minutes by car. It's the old house from the 'Gentleman Jack' TV show. Halifax is ten minutes away. That's where you'll find supermarkets, the Piece Hall, and the Eureka museum if you've got children.

Further out, Hebden Bridge is about half an hour's drive. Haworth, for the Brontë stuff, is also around thirty minutes. Both the Yorkshire Dales and the Peak District are within an hour, if you fancy a longer day out.

For facilities: there's parking, an electric vehicle charger, bike storage, Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
