Cedar Barn is a stone barn conversion in Stone Chair, near Northowram. It's semi-detached and set back from the lane. You've got your own patio area with the hot tub, and shared access to a big lawn looking over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, each with its own ensuite shower room. There's a third loo downstairs. It's a 5 Star place, so it's done to a high spec. Everything works properly and it's very clean.
The main living area is open plan with big windows to see the view. The underfloor heating works a treat. The stairs are a typical barn conversion style, so they're quite open-tread and a bit steep.
You're right on the Calderdale Way footpath here, so you can walk straight out. For a local attraction, Shibden Hall is about five minutes away by car. It's that old timbered house used in 'Gentleman Jack'. Halifax town centre is ten minutes. That's where you'll find the Piece Hall, shops, and places to eat.
Further afield, Hebden Bridge is about a half hour drive. Haworth, for the Brontë Parsonage, is also about thirty minutes. You can get to the edge of the Peak District or the Yorkshire Dales in under an hour if you fancy a longer trip.
Facilities: it's got the hot tub, parking, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. No pets, I'm afraid.
