Waterside Lodge Five is in Elland, West Yorkshire. It's a wooden lodge on a waterside plot in Ashgrove Country Park. There are lakes, a canal, and woods all around the estate.
It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, so plenty of space for a group or a big family. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable.
The layout is a bit different. The living area is on the top floor, with big doors that open onto a balcony overlooking the water. That's where you get the best views. The middle floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom. Downstairs, there are two more bedrooms, one of which has glass doors that open straight out onto a deck by the lake.
You have your own decking area with a hot tub. There's parking right next to the lodge. The kitchen has a dishwasher and there's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring up to two dogs.
There's a pub and restaurant about a mile down the road, which is popular. A proper shop is about two miles away in Elland. Elland has an old cinema and a microbrewery. Brighouse is close by too, it's a proper market town with a train station. Trains go to Halifax, Hebden Bridge, Leeds, and Manchester.
Within about 15 minutes by car, you can get to Halifax. That's where you'll find the Piece Hall and Shibden Hall, which you might know from the TV. Eureka, the children's museum, is also about 15 minutes away.
Further out, you can get to the Brontë Parsonage in Haworth in about half an hour. Both the Yorkshire Dales and the Peak District are under an hour's drive if you fancy a day out walking.
