Woodland's Clough

Woodland's Clough is up near Dunford Bridge, right on the edge of the Peak District. It's on a working hill farm, so there are sheep about. The view is the main thing. It looks straight out over Windleden Reservoir and the moors. You're high up, about 1250 feet.

It's one of three cottages here. This one sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a wood burning stove. The place is warm and comfortable. It's got beams and character, but it's not overly fancy. It's got a 4 Star rating.

You can bring two dogs. The garden is yours to use. It's all on one level inside, so the entrance is wheelchair accessible. There's parking right there. It has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.

You can walk straight from the door. The Trans Pennine Trail is right there. Winscar Reservoir is a short drive down the road for a gentler stroll. For a proper day out, Peak District National Park is on your doorstep. Holmfirth is about four miles away for pubs, shops, and cafes.

Within half an hour you can get to Cannon Hall Farm or the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Places like Buxton or Castleton in the Peaks are within an hour's drive. The nearest shop and pub are about four miles away in Holmfirth.
