Cote Farm

Cote Farm is a converted farmhouse in Bullhouse, near Penistone in South Yorkshire. It's detached and sits in about two and a half acres of its own land. The views are really nice, just open fields and countryside.

It sleeps ten people in five bedrooms, with three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's been done to a high standard, with underfloor heating and things like that. The kitchen has big folding doors that open onto a deck. There's a wood burner in one of the living rooms for cooler evenings. All the bedding and towels are provided.

The garden is split level. There's plenty of parking, including an electric vehicle charger.

You can walk straight out from the house into the countryside. It's on the very edge of the Peak District National Park, so that's right on your doorstep. For cyclists, some of the Tour de Yorkshire routes went through nearby.

The village of Langsett is just over a mile away. It has a local pub and a cafe. Penistone, which is a proper market town, is about a ten minute drive. Holmfirth is about fifteen minutes away if you know it from Last of the Summer Wine. For a big shopping trip, Meadowhall is roughly twenty minutes by car.

If you've got children with you, Cannon Hall Farm is a popular day out nearby. Wentworth Castle Gardens are also close.

Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. We can accept one well-behaved dog. We also have a cot and a highchair if you need them.

For planning days out in the area, the National Trust Yorkshire and Visit Peak District websites are useful.
