Goosander Cottage is in Holme, West Yorkshire. It's on the edge of the Peak District. It used to be three weavers' cottages but it's been knocked into one. It's a big, detached stone place.
It sleeps fifteen, which is a lot. Seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms. Every bedroom has its own shower or bath. One has a special king-size study bed, if you know what that is. It's modern inside but still feels old, with things like a wood burner and underfloor heating. There's a hot tub in the garden.
The views are very good. You look out over the Holme Valley. Holme village is about half a mile walk. There's a pub there that does food.
You can walk straight out from the door into the hills. Cyclists will know Holme Moss. It's right there. The Tour de France came past in 2014.
Holmfirth is three miles away. That's where they filmed Last of the Summer Wine. It's got cafes, pubs, a picture house. Huddersfield is about eight miles for a bigger town.
For facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. You can bring dogs, up to three. It has a 5 Star rating.
