Stable View
This is Stable View in Knole. It's a converted barn, detached. You're in the garden of the main house, where we live, but it's private. It's quiet here, just farms and fields.
It sleeps two. There are two bedrooms. One is on the ground floor with an en suite shower, and the other is a twin upstairs. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's very well equipped. Everything's new and clean.
You've got your own patio outside. There's off-road parking right next to it. Inside, it's open plan. Kitchen, dining area, sofa with a TV. There's a dishwasher and WiFi. Bedding and towels are provided. You can bring two dogs.
We have horses, chickens, and a few cats and dogs here on the property. They're friendly, but they won't come into your space unless you invite them.
The pub in the village is about a ten minute walk. It serves food. For a shop, you need to drive to Langport, which is about five miles. Nice town by the river. The Somerset Levels are all around here for walking and cycling. Good for birds.
If you want to go out for the day, Glastonbury is about twenty minutes by car. Dunster Castle and Exmoor are maybe forty minutes. The coast at Weston-super-Mare is about forty five minutes.
