Mollies View
Mollies View is in Wooler, which is a small market town. It’s a stone end-terrace house on three floors.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well-equipped and finished to a good standard.
The main living area is open plan on the ground floor. There's a wood burner and bi-fold doors that open straight into the back garden. The garden looks out over fields, which is nice. It's a proper view.
Wooler itself is quiet. There’s a Co-op for groceries and a few pubs that do food. It’s a good spot if you like walking. You can start right from the door into the Cheviot hills, or drive a short way to get onto longer routes.
The coast is about half an hour’s drive. Bamburgh beach is the main one, with the castle. The Farne Islands boat trips for the seabirds go from Seahouses. Holy Island is a bit further, but you need to check the tide times for the crossing.
For castles, Alnwick is about 25 minutes south. They’ve got the gardens and the treehouse restaurant thing. Chillingham Castle, which is the allegedly haunted one, is closer, maybe 15 minutes away.
Inside, there’s a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and all the bedding and towels are included. The heating and electricity are covered in the price. There's no pet allowance.
