Coast to Coast Cottage is in Cleator. It's on the edge of the Lake District National Park, about ten minutes' drive from the coast.
It's a refurbished terraced cottage. Sleeps five, three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The garden is a paved rear yard.
The cottage is right on the Coast to Coast path, if that's your thing. You're well placed for the Western Lakes. Buttermere, Derwentwater, and Wasdale are all within half an hour. Scafell Pike is close by for climbing.
If you head the other way, St Bees and the Cumbrian coast are about ten minutes away. Whitehaven is a short drive. Cockermouth, Wordsworth's birthplace, is about twenty minutes. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway is roughly thirty minutes by car.
There's a local pub in the village. The facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs.
