It's rated 5 Star, which means it's designed to a high standard and well equipped. The toilets are proper toilets. The shower is powerful. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher.
The main living space is open plan. Kitchen, dining table, and sitting area all in one big room. There's a wood burner. The doors open straight onto the back garden, which is enclosed. Good for dogs or kids. There's parking on the drive.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: one double, one twin, and a single. One family bathroom with a bath and a separate shower.
You're about a five minute walk from the centre of Kettlewell. There are a couple of pubs there that do food, and a village shop.
You can walk straight out the door onto the fells. The path up to Great Whernside or Buckden Pike starts in the village. If you want to drive, Grassington is about ten minutes away. It has shops and cafes. Skipton is about half an hour, that's a bigger market town with a castle and the canal.
For planning days out, the Yorkshire Dales National Park site is useful. So is National Trust Yorkshire for nearby places like Malham Cove.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, WiFi, TV, washing machine. No pets though.
