Elbeck Dairy Cottage
Elbeck Dairy Cottage is in Litton, North Yorkshire. It's a small stone cottage that used to be part of the farm, I think it was an actual dairy once. It's Grade II listed so the walls are thick.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a king-size bed, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It has a 4 Star rating.
The garden is yours to use and it looks out over the fields. You can see the river Skirfare from there. There's a public footpath right next to the property that follows the riverbank. Good for a short walk.
Litton is very quiet. There's one pub in the village, The Queen's Arms. They do food. For shops, you'll need to drive to Grassington, which is about nine miles. Skipton is about fifteen miles if you need something bigger.
You're right in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Good walking country. The road up to the top of Littondale is worth driving for the views.
Arncliffe is two miles away. That's the village where they filmed the original Emmerdale. The Yorkshire Dales National Park website has walking routes. The National Trust for Yorkshire page lists places like Malham Cove, which is about a 20-minute drive.
What's here: parking is on site, there's an enclosed garden, the bedding and towels are included, and there's wifi. We don't allow pets sorry. There's a TV and a washing machine. No pub within walking distance is a bit of a trek, it's in the village proper.
