Walcot House Stables
Walcot House Stables is out on Walcot Green in Norfolk. It used to be the stables for the big house. It's a detached bungalow now.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well done up and everything works. It's all on one floor, which is good if stairs are a problem.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen, dining table, sofas, and a wood burner in one big space. The kitchen's got an island you can sit at. Big windows look out over the fields. You get your own garden with a patio and a BBQ.
There's a shared meadow out the back, about an acre and a half. Good for a walk or if you've brought a dog. Speaking of which, one well-behaved dog is allowed.
The local pub is a few minutes' drive away. The village shop is about a mile. For a proper day out, Southwold is about twenty minutes by car. They've got the pier, the beach huts, all that. The Norfolk Broads are maybe half an hour's drive if you want to go out on the water.
Norwich is about forty minutes. It's a city, so it's got the cathedral, the castle museum, shopping, that sort of thing.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
