Kingfisher Granary
Kingfisher Granary is a one-bedroom flat on a farm near Battle. It's a modern apartment inside a large old granary building, so it's private, but you can see and hear other parts of the farm working around you. It's detached because the whole granary building is yours.
The flat sleeps two in a double bedroom. There's one bathroom with a shower. It has a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The main room is open plan, with the kitchen and living area together.
The farm is a working farm. You'll see sheep, sometimes cattle, and there are chickens. You're welcome to look around the yard and see the animals, but please be sensible around them. Sometimes you can hear tractors, but not late at night.
There are some good walks straight from the door. The 1066 Country Walk passes the farm, so you can pick it up easily. The famous battlefield at Battle Abbey is about a ten-minute drive. Battle town has shops, cafes, and a few places to eat.
For a bigger town, Hastings is about a fifteen-minute drive. There's the seafront, the old town, and the Hastings Country Park for walks along the cliffs. If you like gardens, Great Dixter is about half an hour away.
Facilities wise: there's on-site parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. You have a small private patio with a table and chairs. You can bring up to two dogs. The electricity is included.
