Marshmede is a cottage in Stodmarsh, Kent. It's a two-bedroom place that sleeps four. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well kept.
The cottage is detached. You have your own garden, which is enclosed. There's parking right outside.
Inside, there are two bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom with a shower. The stairs are standard cottage stairs, so mind your head. There's a wood burner in the living room. We leave some logs for you to get started. It's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
The location is the main thing. The cottage is right on the edge of the Stodmarsh National Nature Reserve. You can walk straight out onto the paths. It's flat and good for birdwatching.
The village pub is about a three-minute walk away. It does food. For a shop, you'll need to drive to nearby villages like Wickhambreaux.
Canterbury is about a 15-minute drive. You can park at the park and ride. The cathedral is the obvious thing, but the city centre is good for wandering. Canterbury Cathedral has all the visiting information.
The coast is about half an hour away. Whitstable has the harbour and the pebble beach. Margate is about the same drive, if you want the sandy beach and the Turner gallery.
For wildlife parks, Wingham and Howletts are both within a 20-minute drive. They're good for a day out with kids.
