The Friars Apartment is in the Eastbridge Hospital in Canterbury. The building itself is very old, from around 1190. It was used for pilgrims back then. Your apartment is on the first floor.
It sleeps two, in one double bedroom. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. The space is clean and has what you need, like a kitchen, WiFi, and parking on site. Towels and bedding are included.
The main thing is the history. You're staying in an ancient building. You'll see the old beams and stonework. The windows look out over the river. The stairs up to the apartment are the original medieval ones, so they're quite uneven and steep. Just something to be aware of.
You're right in the centre of Canterbury. The Cathedral is about a two minute walk. You can visit the Canterbury Tales attraction and the Roman Museum easily. For a walk, you can follow the river.
If you want to go to the coast, Whitstable, Herne Bay, and Broadstairs are all within about 30 minutes by car. Sandwich is also about half an hour away.
