Why Not is on the edge of Canterbury, on Pilgrims' Way. It's a detached bungalow, so everything is on one level. There's a garden that's fully enclosed.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The main bedroom has its own shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything you need is there.
You can park two cars on the drive.
The location is the main thing. You're right on Pilgrims' Way for walking into Canterbury, or out into the countryside the other way. It's about a 25 minute walk into the city centre, or a few minutes in the car. Canterbury Cathedral is the obvious sight. The Cathedral website has visiting information.
If you drive, Whitstable is about 15 minutes away. Good for oysters and the beach. For a bigger beach day, Herne Bay is about 20 minutes. The Kent coast is all within half an hour.
For history, there's Richborough Roman Fort, about a 20 minute drive. And the White Cliffs of Dover are about 40 minutes.
Facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
It's got central heating for winter stays, and the garden gets the sun in the afternoon.
