This is 17 Mill Lane. It's a two-up two-down terrace house in Canterbury. About a minute's walk and you're right in the city centre.
It sleeps three, in two bedrooms. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well looked after, but it's not a show home. It's an old house, so the floors are a bit uneven in places. The stairs are typical for the age, a bit narrow.
The main thing is the garden. It's out the back, fully enclosed, with a table and chairs. You don't get many proper gardens right in the centre, so that's a real plus.
You're so close to everything. The Cathedral is just there. You can walk the city walls. The high street has all the usual shops. The Marlowe Theatre is a five minute walk if you fancy a show.
If you want to get out, you can drive to Whitstable in about 15 minutes. It's good for seafood and a walk by the sea. The Thanet beaches, like Broadstairs and Margate, are about half an hour's drive. Margate has the Turner Contemporary gallery.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's no parking with the house, but there's a long-stay car park a few minutes walk away. No pets, sorry.
