The Yeomans Cottage is part of Eastbridge Hospital in Canterbury. The main building dates from 1190. It was a place for pilgrims. The cottage is an apartment inside it, sleeps two.
It's a one bedroom, one bathroom place. It has a 4 Star rating. It's been done up so you have proper heating and wifi and a shower, but you're still in a very old building. There are low beams and stone walls, which is the point of staying here.
The location is extremely central. You are a two minute walk from Canterbury Cathedral. You can hear the bells. It's good if you want to be right in the middle of things, but it is a city centre, so there can be people about.
For facilities, you've got a dishwasher, wifi, parking on site, and bedding and towels are included. There is a local pub nearby.
For beaches, you'd need to drive. Herne Bay, Whitstable, and Broadstairs are all within about 20-30 minutes. Sandwich is also about a 25 minute drive, it's a nice old town.
