Little Orchard

Little Orchard is on the edge of Kerdiston, near Reepham in Norfolk. It's a detached brick and flint cottage. It's quiet here. You can see fields from the garden.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done up to a high standard. Everything's on the ground floor, so it's good if stairs are a problem. The main living area is open plan, which is great for groups.

The garden is big and private. There's a proper garden room out there with heating, so you can use it all year. You get deer and hares in the field next door. The sunsets are very good.

Reepham is about a mile away. It's a nice little market town with a few shops, a couple of decent pubs that do food, and a cafe. You can walk there if you want.

For walks, you can go straight from the door. Marriott's Way, which is an old railway line for walking and cycling, is just down the road. It goes for miles.

Norwich is about half an hour's drive. It's a good city with a castle, the cathedral, and the lanes for shopping. The north Norfolk coast, like Cromer or Blakeney, is also about half an hour away. The Broads are a similar drive.

Things closer by: the National Trust's Blickling Hall is about twenty minutes. The village of Heydon is pretty. For kids, Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure is about fifteen minutes away.

What's here: a washing machine, dishwasher, Sky TV, WiFi. There's a wood burner, and logs are provided. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for at least two cars. You can bring up to two dogs.
