Squirrel Lodge is on the Hawthorns glamping site near Foxley in Norfolk. It's a single storey lodge for two people, completely detached. You're by yourselves in it, but there are a couple of other places on the same three-acre site.
It's open plan inside, so the sleeping, sitting and kitchen area is all one space. There's a separate shower room. It's got underfloor heating and all the power comes from solar, so it's off-grid, but you still get Wi-Fi and things like a dishwasher. The standard is high, it's a 4 Star lodge.
Outside there's a private seating area with a fire pit. The whole site is meadow, so there's plenty of space between you and the other accommodations.
We allow one well-behaved dog.
For things to do, you're in proper countryside. Pensthorpe Natural Park is about a ten-minute drive. It's good for a wander. The coast at Wells-next-the-Sea is roughly half an hour by car. Norwich is about the same, the other way. The Broads are within a thirty-minute drive too.
