Cherry Blossom

Cherry Blossom is one two beautifully presented lodges nestled within the pretty lodge park of Florida Keyes, on the edge of the village of Wilberfoss, close to the historic city of York. All on the ground floor and boasting new decking, a wraparound garden and private hot tub this lodge is perfect for couples, friends or a family looking for a peaceful break yet with easy access to both York, the Yorkshire Wolds and the stunning Yorkshire coastline.
Step inside into the spacious open plan living area, the vaulted ceiling and warming colour scheme add a sense of theatre to the room which is flooded with natural light from several windows and a set of French doors leading out to the decking. Relax on an evening on the large L shaped sofa watching your favourite holiday film and let the electric fire take the chill off during the cooler autumn months. The deep blue kitchen is stunning with a host of modern appliances. The dining table sits close by and is ideal for coming together for a hearty Yorkshire breakfast or to enjoy a delicious home cooked meal on an evening. Take advantage of the utility room where you’ll also find some treats here for your four-legged friend. The bathroom offers a bath for a relaxing soak after a busy day exploring or a walk-in shower for a quick refresh in the morning. Retire in the evening to one of two beautifully presented double bedrooms; one offering a sleigh bed. Enjoy the complimentary chocolates before turning off the lights.
Cherry Blossom offers wraparound gardens and a covered barbecue area to enjoy during the summer months. The hot tub is tucked away to the rear of the lodge and is undercover and surrounded by fairy lights, this really is a perfect spot for an evening dip and a glass or two of fizz.
The village of Wilberfoss offers a selection of eateries, a well-stocked village store and post office. The historic city of York is a short drive away, here you can explore the imposing York Minster, wander the cobbled streets, explore the snickleways, visit the Jorvik Viking Centre, York Chocolate Story, Cliffords Tower or the National Railway Museum. The Yorkshire Wolds offer miles of walking and cycling opportunities and there are several great golf courses close by. A little further afield are the coastal towns of Bridlington and Filey and the rugged North York Moors National Park. With so much to do in the area Cherry Blossom is the perfect lodge getaway for your Yorkshire break.
