Located on the first floor of a former high street bank, Olde Bank Apartment offers a convenient and comfortable base, right at the heart of Ilfracombe’s bustling town centre. The apartment has been well furnished to provide a welcoming place to enjoy a holiday or short relaxing break. All the delights that Ilfracombe has to offer are within easy walking distance. The picturesque harbour, which is guarded over by Damien Hirst’s ’Verity’, has a good variety of shops and restaurants, and a small beach to get the sand between the toes. Nearby Tunnels Beaches is also worth a visit.
During your stay there is plenty to see and do further afield. The Lynton to Lynmouth cliff railway makes for an excellent day out, whilst Croyde and Woolacombe have some of the best surf beaches in the country, as well as many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor is a short distance away, and on a clear day the views can be spectacular. National Trust properties in the area include Arlington and Knightshayes, and there are RHS gardens at Rosemoor, Great Torrington. Golf, fishing and cycling are all available locally. Beach 750 yards. Shop and pub 20 yards, restaurant 50 yards.
