The Green One On The End is the last cottage in a row of three, on the edge of Thurton. It's green, as you'd expect. It's a one-bedroom place for two people.
It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-finished. There's a small, private garden at the back with a patio and a barbecue. Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside.
The village shop and the Cross Keys pub are a two-minute walk. It's a proper local pub. If you want a bigger shop or a few more places to eat, Loddon is about a ten-minute drive. It's a nice little town on the River Chet.
You're right on the edge of the Norfolk Broads here. You can walk straight out onto the footpaths. For boating, you can hire day boats, canoes or paddleboards locally. You'd need a licence for fishing.
Beccles is about fifteen minutes by car. It's a nice market town with a lido outdoor pool that's open in summer. Norwich is under half an hour away if you need a city day for shopping, the castle, or the cathedral.
The coast is easy from here. Great Yarmouth, with the piers and amusements, is about half an hour's drive. For a quieter, nicer beach, Southwold on the Suffolk coast is about forty minutes.
A couple of things to note. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, not a bath. And no pets, sorry.
