Ty Carreg is a barn conversion just outside Aberystwyth, near the village of Southgate. It's detached and looks over fields. The garden is yours, it's enclosed, and it's a fair size.
It was done up in 2024. It sleeps six, but in two bedrooms, both kingsize. So it's two proper doubles and then sofa beds in the living area. There's one bathroom, but it's a good one with a double shower and a freestanding bath.
You've got the basics: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Parking is right there. Bedding and towels are included.
Aberystwyth is about ten minutes by car. It's a university town on the coast. There's a long promenade, a pier, and the ruined castle up on the hill. The Ceredigion Coast Path is right there if you want to walk it.
The beach at Clarach Bay is two or three miles away. It's a sandy beach when the tide's out. For wider plans, the Snowdonia National Park is about an hour's drive north. You can get to Devil's Bridge and its waterfalls in under half an hour.
A few things to know. The property has beams and stone walls, which means some low doorways inside. Just watch your head. The sofas convert to beds, so it's flexible for groups, but the main sleeping space is the two bedrooms.
No pets allowed, sorry.
