Cottage 2 is a converted barn, out near Llanilar. It sleeps nine, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. The rating is 4 Star.
You come in to the open-plan living area. It's all one big space with the kitchen and dining area. One double bedroom and a shower room are downstairs on the ground floor.
Upstairs there are two family rooms. Each has a double bed and a single bed in it. The stairs are quite steep, being part of the old barn.
The garden is enclosed, which is good for kids or dogs. You can bring two pets. There's a patio with a gas BBQ and a private hot tub.
It's a quiet spot, about a ten-minute drive from Aberystwyth. The town has the usual shops and supermarkets. The promenade and beach are there, and the castle ruins on the seafront are worth a look. The cliff railway up Constitution Hill is a good thing to do if you want a view.
Within half an hour, you can get to places like Borth beach, or Devil's Bridge and the Rheidol Valley steam railway. The Visit Ceredigion site has more ideas. For walks, the Cambrian Mountains site is useful.
What's included: WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are provided. There's parking. Everything is on one level once you're inside, apart from the stairs to the bedrooms. It can be booked with the other cottages here if you have a bigger group.
