You get your own patio garden. There's also a shared hot tub in the building's communal garden. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
The location is good. You're in the town, not right on the seafront, but it's a short walk down to the promenade and North Beach. The university campus and the Arts Centre are nearby.
For things to do, the Cliff Railway up Constitution Hill is a standard trip, you get a good view from the top. The castle ruins are just there on the seafront. For a longer walk, the footpath up to the National Library and through Penglais Woods is pleasant. Bwlch Nant yr Arian forestry centre, about 15 minutes' drive away, does daily red kite feeding. The Vale of Rheidol steam railway runs from the station out to Devil's Bridge.
