This is Seascape. It's in Aberystwyth, one of two houses built together. We live in the other one.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything is on the ground floor, so there are no stairs to worry about.
The main thing is the view. You look right out over the town and Cardigan Bay. It's a good spot to sit and watch the weather come in. You can see the top station of the cliff railway from the garden. That's about a six-minute walk up the hill. They've got a café and the big camera obscura up there.
You can walk down into Aberystwyth in about fifteen minutes. There are two routes, one brings you out near the North beach, the other nearer the castle. The town has everything you need: shops, pubs, a cinema. The promenade is good for a walk. The pier is a bit weathered but it's still there.
For beaches, the town ones are fine. For something more dramatic, you drive. Ynyslas sand dunes are about half an hour north. You can often see dolphins from the coast path. If you like walking, you can pick up the Ceredigion Coastal Path from the property. The Rheidol steam train starts in town and goes up to Devil's Bridge.
You're overlooking Aberystwyth Golf Club. If that's your thing, it's very handy.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and wifi. The shower is a walk-in type. We include all the bedding and towels. You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside.
