Dyffryn Cain is in Llandre, a village about four miles inland from Aberystwyth. It's a detached house, so no neighbours through the walls. You get the whole place to yourselves.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is useful with that many people. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped.
The kitchen is big, with a large table that seats everyone. The bi-fold doors open onto the garden and let a lot of light in. There's a separate utility room with a washing machine.
There's a converted games room attached to the house. One bedroom is en-suite upstairs. The garden is a patio area with furniture and a barbecue. It looks out over a valley and some woods.
The village has a local pub. Borth and its beach are about a five-minute drive away. Aberystwyth is four miles. You've got the castle, the pier, and the beach there. The Vale of Rheidol Railway starts in Aberystwyth too.
For walking, you're right in the countryside. The coast path is nearby. For planning, the Visit Ceredigion site is useful, and the National Trust in Wales looks after some local places like nearby Hafod Estate.
Facilities wise: all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. There's parking on the drive. It has wheelchair access to the ground floor. No pets, sorry.
