This is Eithinog. It's in Tal y bont in Ceredigion, right on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains. The views are good. You can see the coast from the hill.
It sleeps six but only has two bedrooms. They're both quite big with an ensuite bathroom each, so it works. The place is 5 Star. That means it's well looked after and comfortable. It's a converted farm building. The other cottage, Helygen, is attached, but you wouldn't really know from inside. You have your own garden and it's enclosed.
The village is a mile down the road. There's a shop and a couple of pubs that do food. Aberystwyth is about eight miles away. You can walk the prom there, or take the cliff railway up to the camera obscura.
If you like walking, you're sorted. You're right on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains. For the coast, the Ynyslas sand dunes and nature reserve are about twenty minutes drive. Bwlch Nant Yr Arian, where they feed the red kites, is about half an hour away. The red kite feeding station there is worth seeing.
Facilities are all there: wood burner, dishwasher, wifi, TV, washing machine. There's parking. You can bring two dogs. We leave bedding and towels for you. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
