Helygen Tal y bont

Helygen is near Tal y bont, in Ceredigion. It’s part of a pair of converted farm buildings, so it’s adjoining another property called Eithinog. You get your own garden. The views are really good, over farmland and hills, and you can even see the coast from the hillside.

It sleeps six. There are two bedrooms and three bathrooms, each bedroom has its own en suite. It’s got a 5 Star rating. It’s a comfortable, well-finished place.

The village of Talybont is about a mile away. It’s got a shop and a couple of pubs that do food. Aberystwyth is the main town nearby for shopping and things like that. You can walk the promenade there, or catch the steam train to Devil’s Bridge.

If you like walking, the Cambrian Mountains are right there. The Cambrian Way goes through the area. For the coast, the Ynyslas sand dunes and nature reserve are worth a visit. At Bwlch Nant Yr Arian, you can see red kites being fed. The whole area is a UNESCO Dyfi Biosphere.

In terms of facilities, it’s got everything you’d expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking. It’s enclosed for dogs and we take up to two pets. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them.
