Sea View

Sea View is Apartment 4 in Plas Tanybwlch, a big old house just south of Aberystwyth. It's on the first floor. You have your own parking space.

It's a one bedroom place, sleeps two. It's a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done up to a high standard. It's got all the original features from when it was built, like sash windows and shutters. It feels more like a proper flat than a holiday let, which is nice.

The house sits in seven acres of grounds. You get views over the field to the sea from the main room. The garden is shared with the other apartments.

It's about a mile and a half from a shop and a pub. To get into Aberystwyth itself, you can walk along the beach path. That takes about half an hour. Or you can cycle it in fifteen minutes on the cycle path.

Aberystwyth has the usual seaside stuff: a pier, promenade, the castle ruins. Constitution Hill has a little cliff railway you can take up. The National Library is there if that's your thing. The Arts Centre puts on a lot of shows.

You can get the steam train from Aberystwyth up to Devil's Bridge on the Vale of Rheidol Railway. If you drive, New Quay is about half an hour south. They do dolphin watching boat trips from the harbour there. Aberaeron, also about half an hour south, is a smart little harbour town with coloured houses.

The coast path runs right past. You can walk for miles.

Facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage if you need it. No pets.
