Robin’s Nest
Robin's Nest is on our farm in Llanfihangel y Creuddyn. It's about six miles outside Aberystwyth. It was part of the old farm buildings. We've done it up. It's got a lot of beams and feels quite open because of the skylights.
It sleeps four but it's one bedroom. That bedroom is downstairs. It's a king size bed and the bathroom is right there with a shower over the bath. The stairs take you up to the main living area. That's all open plan. There's a kitchen, a small table, and a sofa that folds out into a double bed if you need it. It's got a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine.
You can bring two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
It's a working farm, so you'll see sheep and maybe tractors about. You're welcome to walk around the farm tracks. The views from the upstairs windows are across the fields to the hills.
Aberystwyth is ten minutes in the car. It's got all the shops you need, a cinema, and places to eat. The promenade is good for a walk. For a longer walk or a bike ride, Bwlch Nant yr Arian is about 15 minutes away. They feed the red kites there every day, which is something to see.
You can get to the coast in under twenty minutes. Places like Borth or Ynyslas are good for the beach. The Ceredigion Coast Path is all along there if you like proper walking.
There are two other cottages here on the farm, Hare's Hideaway and Squirrel's Cottage. You can book them all together if you've got a bigger group.
