Penpegws Cottage
Penpegws Cottage is in Llanfarian, a few miles south of Aberystwyth. It's detached and up on the hill, so you get the views across the fields to the sea. The sunsets from the garden are good.
It sleeps two people in three bedrooms. There are two doubles and a single, so it's flexible. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's one bathroom with a shower, downstairs.
The living room has a wood burner. There's a TV with internet and the kitchen has what you need. The wifi is fine for normal use.
There are two separate garden areas. One has furniture and looks out over the sea. The other is more sheltered and has a picnic table. There's a small pond in that second garden, so just be aware if you have dogs or small children. You can bring up to two pets.
Aberystwyth is about a ten minute drive. It's a university town with shops, places to eat, a pier, and the National Library. The Ceredigion Coast Path runs right past. You can walk into Aberystwyth from the cottage if you don't mind a steep hill on the way back.
Borth beach and the dunes at Ynyslas are about a twenty minute drive north. For a walk inland, Devil's Bridge and the waterfalls are roughly half an hour away.
Facilities: parking for two cars, washing machine, towels and bedding included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
