Achnacarry Cottage is a detached house in Lonemore, about two miles outside Dornoch. It's just you and the garden, which looks out over the Dornoch Firth. The view is good.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean without any frills. The entrance and main rooms are on one level, which makes things easier.
You're about two and a half miles from the beach. Dornoch itself is a small town with a couple of good shops, places to eat, and a cathedral. The famous Royal Dornoch Golf Course is there. For wildlife, the Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve is just south. You often see seals there.
The cottage has a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. It's not suitable for pets.
If you're planning trips, the Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve website has details on walks and what you might see. For a wider look at things to do, Visit Scotland's outdoors page is useful.
