Strathy

This is Strathy. It's a bungalow on a quiet street in Dornoch. Single storey, so no stairs.

It's got two twin bedrooms and a bathroom. It sleeps four. The rating is 4 Star, which is good. It's comfortable and clean.

There's a living room and a kitchen with a dining area. The garden is private, south facing, and has a lawn. It gets the sun. Good for sitting out.

You're in the residential part of town. The beach is about a five minute walk. The town centre and the golf course are also a short walk away. The beach is the main thing, really.

Being on one level makes it suitable for people with limited mobility. There's a step or two at the front, but the entrance is wide.

Inside, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, and Wi-Fi. All the bedding and towels are provided. There's a TV.

For getting about, the A9 is easy to reach. That's your route for the NC500, heading north towards Caithness or south towards Inverness.

Dornoch itself is a good base. The beach is long and sandy. The cathedral is old and very nice to look around. There's a pub within walking distance.

If you want to explore, Tain is about 15 minutes south. Dunrobin Castle is about 25 minutes north. Further north, you've got places like John o' Groats within an hour and a half.

No pets, I'm afraid.
