Garden Cottage
Garden Cottage is attached to our farmhouse, down a quiet lane. It's our place and we live next door. The lane leads straight to the beach, which is about a hundred yards away. It's a sandy beach and it's usually very quiet.
The cottage sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was refurbished a few years ago so it's in good shape. It's open plan downstairs, so the kitchen, dining table and sitting area are all in one room. That room looks out over the garden.
You have your own garden, and we also let you use a fenced paddock. It's good if you have dogs, or if children want to run around. There's parking right outside.
We're on a farm, so there are fields around us with horses and sheep. You can walk from the door, either to the beach or through the woods. Tain is about a mile away. It's a small town with supermarkets, a few pubs and places to eat.
If you like whisky, the Glenmorangie distillery is very close. Tain has a golf course, and the famous one at Royal Dornoch isn't far either. For a day out, the seaboard villages like Portmahomack are about ten minutes by car. You might see seals or dolphins from the coast.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two pets. The garden is enclosed.
