Wester Lonemore

Wester Lonemore is a bungalow, so it's all on one level. It's detached and sits quite high up, looking south over the fields to the sea. You get a good view of the Dornoch Firth and the hills.

It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is about right. It's comfortable and well-equipped.

The main room is shaped like a horseshoe around the original fireplace. It's a good room to be in. The large windows mean you see the view from most spots. The sun room is a peaceful place to sit. The garden has a pond that attracts a lot of birds.

You can walk down to Dornoch Sands beach from the house. It's about a five-minute walk. It's a quiet, sandy bay.

Dornoch village is three miles away. It's a nice place with local shops, places to eat, and the cathedral. The famous Royal Dornoch golf course is there. There are several other courses nearby if that's your thing.

You're well placed for exploring. The start of the North Coast 500 route is just a few minutes drive away. Inland, you've got the Highlands. Inverness is about an hour's drive south.

For facilities, it has what you'd expect: wi-fi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
