Fourpenny Cottage

Fourpenny Cottage is in Skelbo, near Dornoch. It’s up a track, away from the main road. It looks out over fields and you can see the sea from the front. It’s quiet here.

The cottage sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, all with their own shower room. It’s got a 3 Star rating. The furniture is a bit dated but it’s all clean and works. The stairs inside are a normal flight.

You’re about a mile from Embo beach. It’s a long, sandy beach, good for walks. The woods and the sand dunes at Coul Links are just behind the cottage. You can walk there.

Dornoch is five minutes in the car. It’s a nice little town with shops, cafes, and a good beach. There’s Royal Dornoch golf course. There are other courses at Tain, Golspie, and Brora too.

The North Coast 500 route is about two miles away. That gives you easy access for day trips up the east coast or across to the west. Ullapool is about an hour and a half, for example.

There’s a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for a couple of cars right outside. You can bring one dog.
