Cluaran Cottage
Cluaran Cottage is a detached house near the centre of Tain. It's got a little garden that wraps around it.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The facilities are all on the ground floor.
The town itself is a nice place, mostly built from sandstone. There's a good mix of local shops, a few places to eat, and a couple of pubs, all about a five minute walk away. There's a golf club, tennis courts, and things like that close by too.
The house is right on the North Coast 500 route, so it's a good spot if you're driving that. The coast is about half a mile away. You're well-placed here to go north for beaches, west for mountains and lochs, or south towards the Black Isle and Inverness.
Within about half an hour's drive, you've got the Glenmorangie distillery just outside town, Dunrobin Castle up near Golspie, and Dornoch with its cathedral and beach.
For facilities, it's got the basics covered: parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. It's set up for Christmas if you're booking then. Sorry, no pets.
