Cluaran Cottage

Cluaran Cottage is in Tain, right near the town centre. It's a detached stone house with a small garden around it. It's on the North Coast 500 route, but it feels quiet.

It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine, and all the bedding and towels are included.

You're about a ten minute walk from the coastline here. The town itself has what you need. There's a decent shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and a few restaurants and cafes. The Glenmorangie distillery is right here if you fancy a tour.

For a day out, Dornoch is about twenty minutes up the road. It's got a nice cathedral and a very good beach. Dunrobin Castle is spectacular, that's about forty minutes north. Inverness is less than an hour south if you want a city trip.

You're well placed for getting out. The beaches north of here are massive. For walks, you can follow the coast or head west into the hills pretty easily.

There's parking right at the cottage. No pets allowed, I'm afraid.
