The Junipers
The Junipers is a bungalow on a farm, just outside of Tain. It's in FenDON, not FenDOM, though everyone gets that wrong. It's a quiet spot, with fields all around.
It sleeps five. There's a double room, a twin room, and a single room. One bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything works, it's clean, it's warm. It's a proper farmhouse, so the rooms are a decent size.
The kitchen looks out over the fields. There's a big table in there. The living room has a sofa, chairs, an electric fire, and some books and games. Nothing fancy, but it's comfortable.
You can park three cars on the gravel. There's a bit of lawn at the front with a bench.
Tain is a five minute drive. It has supermarkets, a few shops, pubs, and cafes. The Glenmorangie distillery is there if you want a tour. The beach is about a thirty minute walk away. You go down the farm track and through the woods.
For golf, Tain has a course. Royal Dornoch is fifteen minutes up the road. If you want to ride, Achavandra Horse Riding is very close. They do treks on the beach.
You can drive to Dornoch Beach, Dunrobin Castle, or Invergordon in under half an hour. Further afield, you're well placed for the whole of Easter Ross and Sutherland.
It has WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
