Sunrise Summerhouse

This is Sunrise Summerhouse. It's in Hilton of Cadboll, or just Hilton. You'll see it as you drive into the village, right there on the shore. It's a detached cabin.

It sleeps two. One room with a double bed, a kitchen area, a sofa, and a bathroom with a shower. It's a studio layout, so it's all open plan. The front is mostly glass, so you get the whole view.

It's got a 4 Star rating. The finish inside is very good. Everything feels solid and well looked after.

The main thing is the location. You're literally right next to the water. The waves are the main sound. You can see dolphins in the Moray Firth from the window. The sunrises are good, and the sunsets can be too.

Outside there's a small seating area and a charcoal BBQ. A little fence separates you from the shore path. That path is handy for walking along the coast to the other Seaboard Villages.

Inside, there's a smart TV, WiFi, a dishwasher, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.

There's a local pub in the village. For a bigger shop, Tain is about a fifteen minute drive.

You're well placed for exploring. You can join the NC500 route about ten minutes away. Tain has the Glenmorangie distillery. Dornoch, with its famous golf course, is within half an hour. To the east, the Tarbat Peninsula is worth a trip for Portmahomack and the lighthouse.
