Shore Walk
Shore Walk is in Balintore, in the Scottish Highlands. It's a semi-detached house right in the village.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom, and a separate toilet downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-finished. The garden at the back is enclosed, which is handy.
You're about a hundred yards from the beach. It's a sandy beach, good for a walk or letting a dog run. The house looks out over the sea.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a wood burner. We supply some logs to start you off, but you'll need to buy more locally if you want it every night. The kitchen has what you'd need. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a super king bed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Balintore itself is small. There's a community centre on the seafront with a cafe. There's a local shop and a chemist. The pub does food and it's a short walk away.
For bigger shops, Tain is about nine miles. It has supermarkets, more places to eat, and the Glenmorangie distillery is there if you're interested. There's a golf course nearby too.
We leave a welcome box with some basic things. There are buckets and spades for the beach, and we've got towels for the dogs if you're bringing them. You're allowed up to two pets.
