Iseabail's House is in Balintore. It's semi-detached. You get the whole garden, which is enclosed. It's a good size.
The house sleeps five. Three bedrooms, all decent. One bathroom, but it's got a big walk-in shower. There's a single bedroom downstairs and two doubles upstairs. The stairs are normal. There's a living room with an open fire and a separate dining room. The kitchen is fully fitted. There's a utility room with a washing machine.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept.
The beach is basically two minutes away. Sandy Shandwick beach. You can walk forever along the coast from the door. It's good for dogs and kids who want to be outside.
In the village there's a shop, a café, an inn, a post office, and a pharmacy. The harbour is old. There's a big bronze mermaid statue on the shore. The local history is interesting: there's a Pictish stone nearby and Fearn Abbey is inland.
You're on the North Coast 500 route, about five miles from the official start. It's a good base for driving around. Inverness is about an hour's drive south. Dornoch, with its castle and cathedral, is about twenty minutes north.
You can bring up to two pets. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. It has WiFi and a smart TV.
