Little Tarbet
This is Little Tarbet. It's on the edge of Embo, a small place just north of Dornoch. It's a detached house. You can see the sea from the front door.
The place sleeps three. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. It's not a modern new-build. It's got its own character, with some older furniture and artwork. The garden is across the lane. It’s enclosed and gets the sun most of the day.
The beach is about a five minute walk down the lane. It's a great stretch of sand, good for a walk or a paddle. Dornoch is a couple of miles down the road. There's the cathedral, a few shops, and the Royal Dornoch golf course. The local coast is good for spotting seals.
Within about half an hour you can drive to Loch Fleet for wildlife, or up to Dunrobin Castle at Golspie. You're right on the NC500 route if you want to explore further north. The NC500 website has driving ideas.
There’s parking for one car right outside. The kitchen is open plan with the living room. All the bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
