It's called White House, but only because it's white. It's actually a detached cottage, not a house at all. It's on a working farm, just south of Golspie.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, so that usually works out alright. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and clean.
The layout is decent. There's a sun lounge facing south, which gets the light. You can get to the front garden from there. There's a patio area with a barbecue.
Because it's a farm, you'll see animals and machinery. Keep an eye on children outside. The stairs inside are normal.
Golspie village is about a mile away for shops and a pub. The coast is close. Brora is the next village along, maybe ten minutes by car. They've got a good beach and a golf course.
For bigger days out, Dunrobin Castle is nearby. Inland, you've got the flow country and places like Lairg. Further up the coast is Helmsdale. Inverness is about an hour's drive south.
What's here: The beds are made up for you. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a wood burner. Parking for a couple of cars right outside.
