Rose Cottage is on our farm, about a mile south of Golspie. It's semi-detached, built from old stone. You'll have your own bit of garden out the front.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept. It's on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and probably hear a tractor now and then. The road outside is the North Coast 500 route, so there's some traffic, but it's mostly quiet in the evenings.
Golspie has what you need: a Co-op, a couple of pubs that do food, a cafe or two, and a beach. Dunrobin Castle is there too, worth a visit. Brora is the next town along, about seven miles. They've got a great sandy beach and another golf course.
You're well placed for getting out. The beach at Golspie is good for a walk. Loch Fleet nature reserve is just south, good for seeing birds. For a proper view, you can walk up Ben Bhraggie behind the town. If you want to drive the North Coast 500, you're right on it.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a dishwasher and washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
