Sunnyside Cottage is in Embo, a small village on the northeast coast. It's a terraced stone cottage, one of a row. You're in a quiet lane, and the sandy beach is literally just a few yards from the front gate. There's a path that takes you straight onto it.
The cottage sleeps two. One bedroom upstairs with a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not fussy.
You've got a living and dining area downstairs and a separate kitchen with the usual things. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside is your own private, enclosed garden. It looks out over the bay. It gets the sun.
In the village there's a local pub. The Royal Dornoch Golf Club is about two miles away. Dornoch itself is a couple of miles inland. It has the cathedral, shops, and places to eat.
For a longer drive, you can get to places like Tain or Golspie within half an hour. The National Trust for Scotland has information on lots of local properties and walks if you're planning days out.
There's parking on site. No pets.
