Zambezi
This is Zambezi. It’s a new timber cabin we built over near Holton in 2023. It's for two people. Detached, so it's just you.
It's all on one level. You come in from the parking space up a ramp onto the veranda. The living area has those big bi-fold doors so you can open it right up. The bedroom’s a good size and there’s an en-suite shower room.
The cabin looks out over the fields towards the River Blyth. The veranda is a bit raised, so you get a view down the garden and over the old railway line, which is now a wildlife strip. It’s very quiet. Good for watching birds or stars.
Inside, it’s set up to be comfortable. Everything’s new: the kitchen, the shower. Bedding and towels are included. There's wifi and parking right next to it.
There’s another identical cabin right next door called Limpopo. You can book them together if you’re a group of four.
Holton’s a small village. The nearest decent pub is in Halesworth, about a mile and a half away. Southwold and the coast is about twenty minutes by car. For walking, the Suffolk Coast & Heaths area is right there. If you like history, Framlingham Castle is about half an hour's drive.
