Newstead Cottage is in Weymouth, near the harbour. It's a terrace house but it's end of terrace, so you only have neighbours on one side. It's been done up recently.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles. One bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. There's a living room with an open fire, a dining room, and a kitchen. The garden gets the sun in the evening. You can park two cars off the road.
It's about a ten minute walk to the harbour and the beach. The town centre is the same sort of distance. You've got shops, cafes, the usual.
The coast path is right there. You can walk along to Portland or up towards Osmington Mills. The whole stretch is part of the Jurassic Coast. Chesil Beach is a short drive away.
Sailing is big here because of the National Sailing Academy on Portland. You can swim from the beach, of course. Fishing trips go from the harbour.
If you drive, Dorchester is about 20 minutes. Bridport and Abbotsbury are maybe half an hour. The swannery at Abbotsbury is worth a look. The New Forest is just over an hour away to the east.
What's here: the woodburner, a dishwasher, a washing machine, wifi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to two dogs.
