Sunset Cottage
Sunset Cottage is in Coldharbour, near Weymouth. It's a single-storey bungalow, which is good if you don't want any stairs at all. It's next to our house, but you've got your own garden and parking. The view from the back looks out over the downs towards Hardy's Monument.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well kept. We allow one dog.
You're about a mile from the local shop and pub. Weymouth itself is a couple of miles away. That's where the main sandy beach is, and all the seafront things. Chesil Beach and the Jurassic Coast start about two miles from here. The coastal path is right there for walking.
If you're here for a few days, you can get to Lulworth Cove, Abbotsbury, and the rest of the coast within about half an hour. Inland, Dorchester is close. For a day out, Corfe Castle or the Tank Museum at Bovington are about a 30-minute drive.
What's here: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. The garden is enclosed. You can use the BBQ.
